Dating back to more than 100 years of existence, Engenho do Barreiro is located on Estrada do Barreiro at the entrance to the city 1 Km before the Portal, at the foot of the hill where the greeting of the city "Welcome to Águas de Lindóia" is located. . It has a monjolo, abundant natural water, a wood-fired coffee roaster and oven, cane grinder powered by horse and the old still where the very pure Ditinho do Barreiro cane is still produced. Mr. Ditinho, always friendly, courteous and with great disposition, introduces everyone who visits the Engenho to everything in it.

He says that the main house at Engenho was built by slaves in the late nineteenth century, as he recalls tales from his grandfather to his father. It is worth visiting this historic installation.
