The Golden Pheasant is the ideal base to explore the area as it is filled with hidden treasures to make your stay a magical one. In 1939 the owner advertised the hotel as "good accommodation for families, commercial genetlemen & cyclists with good stabling and motor garage."

We take the time and effort to make unique local, regional & international meals using classic recipes and adding our own sense of Cotswold flavour and charm. The chef can almost guarantee them to be exclusive to us.
Meats & game are of the very highest quality, wherever possible from local sources or high reputation. Vegetables and fruit are handpicked to our exacting standards. Herbs are from local gardens as the chef will settle for nothing less than the best.
Accompanying the seasonal menu, we offer an exciting and varied specials board that encompasses the essence of the Cotswold and of the town. Local ham hocks and Trout feature along with game pots that are sure to curb your hunger.
Escape for a break here in one of our 10 well appointed rooms, all with internet access, TV, radio, tea & coffee facilities. We offer newspapers in the morning plus a traditional english breakfast included in the room rate for those wishing to spend the day discovering the delights of the cotswolds.
