A traditional East Sussex inn in the South Downs, Ye Olde Smugglers Inne dates back to the 14th century and retains plenty of its original character. A cosy fireside bar and restaurant complement the bespoke rooms, which all benefit from free Wi-Fi.
Each room has use of shared or private bathroom facilities, and has a radio, alarm clock and wardrobe. There is a relaxing guests’ lounge with tea and coffee facilities, TV and DVD player.
Full English breakfast is cooked to order each morning from 07:30 – 09:00, using locally sourced ingredients where possible. The pub serves home-cooked food all day, along with an impressive international wine list and fine Sussex ales.
