Rooms at the Alte Lohnhalle Kultur- und Tagungshotel are modern, spacious and feature period details. The rooms are grouped around a 16-metre high cathedral-style hall, which is used as a meeting and events room.
The hotel offers bicycle hire and storage facilities as well as a Hotel-KombiTicket on request, which entitles guests to free public transport in the local area.
Guests are welcome to use the fitness and sauna facilities at the Essener Fitness Camp, just 50 metres from the main hotel building. The mine hotel was built in a neo-Gothic style in 1903 and provides the centre point of the "Zeche Bonifacius“ monument.
This extraordinary building offers a 16-metre high, 170 m2 cathedral style hall around which the rooms are grouped: a unique setting for meetings and special events.
In addition, the hotel offers "RevierRad" bicycle hire as well as a Hotel-KombiTicket (only on request), which entitles you to free public transport within the Rhine-Ruhr region ("VRR") for the duration of your stay. This ticket can be obtained at reception.
New: Our guests can use the training and sauna area in the "Essener Fitness Camp" free of charge (just 50 metres from the hotel).
