Recife
Recife is the fifth largest metropolitan area in Brazil, the largest metropolitan area in the North / Northeast Regions, the fifth largest metropolitan area in Brazil, and the largest metropolitan area in the Americas. city and capital of the state of Pernambuco.
Recife is located where the Beberibe River meets the Capibaribe River that flows into the Atlantic Ocean.
It is an important port in the Atlantic Ocean. Its name is an allusion to the stone reefs that are present by the edges of the city.
The many rivers, small islands and more than 50 bridges that are in the center of the city Recife characterize its geography and gives it the nickname of "Brazilian Venice".

Carnival! Two months before the actual date, rehearsals begin, and the blocks, or carnival or group section, attract hundreds of observers. The main dance is frevo, an emotionally energetic experience. In Olinda, everyone participates.
In Olinda the Festival Folclore Nordestino, at the end of August, is one of the highlights of the dance and music of the entire northeast region.
