Awarded by the Travel Association for their traditional multi-course meals, Kissenkan Chikusuitei offers Japanese-style accommodations. Guests can relax in the 24-hour operated indoor/outdoor public baths featuring hot spring water. A free shuttle is available from JR Gero Train Station, which is a 5-minute walk away and must be reserved at time of booking.
The air-conditioned rooms have tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. A flat-screen TV, a fridge and an electric kettle are included in each. Japanese Yukata robes and slippers are provided for all guests. Some rooms have an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer.
Massages can be requested for an extra cost and you can sing your favourite songs at the karaoke room.
Award winning traditional multi-course dinners feature local and seasonal ingredients. A Japanese set menu is served for breakfast. Meals are served at either the guests’ rooms or at the dining room.
Chikusuitei Kissenkan Ryokan is a 20-minute walk from Gero Onsen Gassho Village and a 10-minute drive from Zensho-ji Temple.
