Known as sources of healing waters as early as 1876, its warm, hypothermal waters spring from the ground at an optimum temperature of between 18 and 27ºC, ideal for enjoying a pleasant and relaxing bath. At first its waters were exported to Europe as mineral water to drink and were hardly exploited as a tourist resource, but today the modern hotel offer and infrastructure improvements have changed the situation.

You must take Route 5 South. From Linares you can reach the Panimávida hot springs and Lake Colbún on the south bank.



By bus

Daily frequencies depart from Terminal del Sur in Santiago. It should be consulted in the schedules and prices in the respective Rodoviario.







The Quinamávida Hot Springs are surrounded by forests, hills and beautiful landscapes, an ideal setting to do a bit of exercise and breathe fresh air.

It is possible to make a short visit to the town of Rari, famous for its handicrafts and miniatures made of horsehair and its blankets, shawls and blankets made of sheep's wool, woven on a loom. Other interesting places close to Quinamávida are the town of Yerbas Buenas and Lake Colbún, where you can practice swimming, water sports and go horseback riding in the surroundings.

Also and no less important, close to the Quinamávida Hot Springs, is the Los Bellotos National Reserve, where the visitor can go hiking, trekking, take pictures and observe the varied native flora and fauna.
