Near the shores of Lake Torneträsk in the far north of Sweden, this hostel is located in Björkliden. Skiing and hiking trails can be found within 200 metres of the property.
Gammelgården Ski Lodge offers bright rooms with free access to the hostel’s sauna. Showering facilities are shared, while some rooms have a private toilet and all rooms have a private wash basin.
There is a fully equipped guest kitchen, and a restaurant, open from late February until early May, serving pizzas and Mediterranean food.
Abisko National Park is a 10-minute drive from Gammelgården Ski Lodge, while down-hill ski slopes are just 500 metres away. Snowmobile trips and dog sledding can be arranged by staff.
