Alternatively, you can travel in style, in one of the horse drawn carriages that run down Cockington Lane and past The Charterhouse on a regular basis.
Whilst picturesque Cockington offers thatched cottages, cream teas and the Manor Court, with all of its local crafts, central Torquay offers theatres, shops and the buzz of a vibrant seaside holiday destination, and are all within walking distance. Guests can enjoy a refreshing dip in the small outdoor heated swimming pool between May and September.
